Ms. Tyler chose to focus on immigration law after gaining experience in defensive asylum cases and violations of H-2B visas while interning with the following nonprofit organizations: Immigration Legal Services and Utah Legal Services. Ms. Tyler also interned for Judge David Nuffer within the U.S. District Court, District of Utah, and gained valuable experience researching, analyzing, and drafting opinions concerning a variety of federal law issues within the District of Utah. Ms. Tyler’s decision to practice Worker’s Compensation law was inspired by her father’s (Jinks Dabney) Workers’ Compensation law practice developed over more than 50 years. Mr. Dabney is currently mentoring Ms. Tyler with his extensive experience and knowledge in this area of law as many undocumented individuals, as well as documented individuals who do not speak English, are often denied Worker’s Compensation coverage despite their eligibility.

Ms. Tyler developed Spanish language skills while living in Asuncion, Paraguay for 18 months as a proselyting missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoys trail running, reading good books, skiing, biking, and backpacking with her family.
